Shine your boots, friend. There'll be some toe-tapping' when you spin this CD. When a person thinks of a great Texas Band, the #1 thought is Ray Benson and Asleep at the Wheel. Although known for playing primarily Western Swing, Ray and Asleep at the Wheel have introduced the world to country music with their style of "swing" for over three decades. And for over 20 years they've performed on stage at Billy Bob's Texas. Asleep at the Wheel has been honored with numerous awards in the industry, and when I asked Ray about his Grammy Awards, he said "I never thought music was a contest". He is so humble and it's obvious that Ray LOVES what he does. The folks at Smith Music Group knew that no CD collection from Billy Bob's Texas would be complete without "Asleep at the Wheel". Hits like "Miles and Miles of Texas", "Get Your Kicks on Route 66", and "Boogie Back to Texas" are truly honky-tonk tunes and they have even more meaning when they're sung "Live at Billy Bob's". Go ahead and try to play this without smiling and tapping your feet... I dare ya!

Bleu Edmonson | Live at Billy Bob's T...
If Bleu Edmondson were a rodeo cowboy, people would say "he earned his spurs" at Billy Bob's. He first performed here as an opening act on our honky tonk stage, but now he's on the same stage as the greatest entertainers in music. An honor Bleu doesn't take lightly. He respects the musicians that...
